Dr. Kusum Joshi started her career in 1975 after completing MD Pathology from AIIMS, New Delhi. She trained from 1983 to 1985 at Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden Hospital, London; leading to a degree of Phd (Pathology). She served on the faculty of PGIMER, Chandigarh from 1981 to 2013 and became Head, department of Histopathology, bringing in “State of the art” technology to the department. Over decades of experience she specialised in Renal, Onco, Pulmonology and Gastro Intestinal Pathology. Dr Joshi also served as Sub-dean at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
