He earned his medical degree of MBBS from Government Medical college, Patiala and MD Internal medicine from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak. He secured the degree of DM in Neurology from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, rated amongst the top medical institutions in the country. Having worked with the stalwarts of Neurology in India, he is well versed with the latest management of Headaches, Epilepsy, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Sleep Disorders, Parkinson Disease, Spine disorders, CNS infections, Nerve and Muscle disorders in adults as well as in children.
